Lakeland Polished Stainless Steel Jug Kettle

*It looks nice. *It's a bit bigger, heavier and noisier than a plastic kettle. *It pours well. *The limescale filter is easy to remove/fit and works effectively. *The on/off switch is unusually but conveniently placed at the top of the handle. *The lid locks shut for boiling but also opens wide to fill from the tap. *The cup markings on the window don't go below 2, but it's possible to boil less with care. *The main safety feature it lacks is switch-off when lifted from the base - if put back empty it will keep on heating. *Overall verdict: stylish and works well, but could be better.
