Lakeland Hard Anodised 20cm Frying Pan

This frying pan is a great size with a well balanced handle. Good value for money.

I bought a 20cm frying pan in 2013 & a 28cm frying pan in 2012 from Lakeland, so I have given plenty of time to assess these pans for review. They look stylish and high quality, the weight is just right and for quite a few years they have performed reasonably well. At a rough estimate I use them about once or twice a week at most and only ever use one-calorie spray oil. However as one other reviewer pointed out, the exterior dulls if the frying pan is put in the dishwasher. By now however they are no longer non-stick and for the price I would have expected them to have lasted a little longer.

This item is one of the set we bought, They seemed to be a good quality, now we have had them for a while we have noticed a few problems which we are keeping a watchful eye on. The non stick is questionable! Dishwasher safe? the outside of the pans are starting to loose there colour and look very sorry themselves. I think when they get to 12 months old they will look like they have been put through the clothes washing machine.

I am not sure exactly how long I have had this pan but I believe it has deteriorated far more than it should have. In particular, the outside looks as though I have been using it to bash a wall! Parts of the outside have disintegrated leaving sharp edges. The non-stick is no longer very effective. The pan has not had heavy duty use - probably less than once a week so this has been a disappointing purchase for a usually very satisfied and long standing Lakeland customer.
