Morphy Richards Soup Maker

This is an outstanding piece of kitchen equipment. Wholesome soup made simply by chopping up the ingredients, lobbing them into the soupmaker, adding stock and switching on. 15 minutes later you are enjoying delicious soup.

I agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviews. I have just purchased the soup maker and I'm delighted with it. Cleaning is easy and making the soup it so quick with no steamy kitchen or messy pans!.

Brilliant gadget, especially with the £20 off voucher (thankyou) Yes, some recipes require browning veg etc but my only real concern is with the quantities given in some of the recipes. I have a great, but time consuming, butternut squash soup recipe that uses the same weight of squash etc but TWICE as much liquid, this gives a thick creamy soup if I use the quantities in the recipe booklet the soup woud be far TOO thick. Also some of the recipes do not give weight/size merely saying '1 carrot, 1 potato or 2 turnips' I'm sure I'll enjoy getting there but better guide lines would help.

I use this every day, so easy to use, no mess, makes soup with a wonderful taste even with the most basic ingredients like a few carrots, a couple of potatoes and a tin of butterbeans. It's a brilliant gadget even at the Lakeland price.
