This is our first coffee making machine and we found it very easy to use. Pressing the 'Aroma' button slows the process down a little, but it is still quick and the coffee is hot. The filter compartment swings out and beside the filter holder is a "channel" into which you pour the water - so it's all done from the front! We have not yet had occasion to use the timer, but so far very happy with our purchase.
I bought this as we love filter coffee and thought the idea of having a pull out tray to put in the water and coffee a very good one. It is great, much easier and convenient and also keeps the coffee nice and hot. Very good price for a neat, compact coffee machine.

This coffee machine is easy to use. I used the supplied permanent filter first time but found the proper fitting Delonghi filters on-line for a quick clean up. A slight downside is the temperature of the coffee. I take mine black but add milk to your cup and the coffee will not be hot! The cup warmer takes 3 or so cups which helps a little. If you leave coffee sitting in the jug with the machine left on, it keeps the coffee at the same temperature for 2 hours before switching off. All things considered this is a great machine but it looses a star for the temperature of the coffee.
