Although the cases did smell of a strong odour when I opened them, once they were used the odour had gone and the cakes hadn't been affected and tasted the same as they would have in any other case. I loved these and will be ordering some more.
I couldn't use these cupcake cases as they had a strange overpowering smell. I didn't use them in case they tainted the cakes. I will be returning them.
