"Bought for use in motorhome"

Used with gas barbecue (not near naked flame). Like locking mechanism as space is a premium. Easy to use and clean.

After the locking tongs that I have had for 12 years finally died, I've bought 3 different makes and types, none of which were anywhere as good as my old ones, most of them didn't grip a slice of bacon as they didn't close tightly enough. Finally bought these from Lakeland and so pleased to not only find something similar to the originals but actually better as the lock is easier to use. Would highly recommend especially with Lakeland's guarantee included

I've tried several tongs for non-stick pans and been disappointed with all of them as they are so difficult to turn food with / to open and close, including another pricey one from Lakeland. This one is definitely the best I've tried and I'm very happy with it.

I am very pleased with these tongs. They are so precise. Rubber type ones I have had before did not always seem to meet together so picking things up with them has been hit and miss. These have been in use for a few weks and now, no damage to the silicone and are very worth the money.
