Home Cook Marmalade - Prepared Seville Oranges Thick Cut 850g

I have been making this delicious Home Cook thick cut product for several years but the latest tin had so little peel as to be unbelievable - I would suggest about 40% of what normally is needed. The 5th and sixth jars had virtually no peel at all, with the others having but a modest amount. Perhaps Quality Control had gone awry! This apart, the taste was lovely, as usual. I always use Tate & Lyle cane sugar rather than beet sugar and this seems to enhance the flavour. I am also a great fan of the Lemon Marmalade - a little dearer but well worth it

I've been making this for years. It is very easy and always sets perfectly. Now I usually make 2 at a time in my big preserving pan - saves on the washing up!

I usually make Seville orange marmalade from scratch each January when the oranges are in season. My 'from scratch' is very chunky. Thix product is a good substitute when a batch of marmalade is needed and I have none of the January batch left! It has an excellent texture and is quick and easy to make. Gives a good yield.
