If you only need a little bit of cream or one egg whisking up, then our handy little whisk is just the thing for the job Looking for all the world like traditional, weighty cast iron, they’re actually made from cast aluminium, which is ultra light so they’re easy to handle, even when full of hot food. There’s no compromise on performance however as they feel solid and substantial in use – the extra-thick aluminium bodies are highly durable, offer quick and even heat distribution, have easy-clean, non-stick interiors and can even be used on gas, electric, ceramic and halogen hobs.

Oven safe to 260ºC.

"Great casserole dish"

I bought this as I was after a durable casserole dish. This does the job. i couldn't believe how light it was. It has excellent heat distribution and can go from the hob to oven with no issue. Well worth the purchase

"Pity about the handles"

I was really pleased to find a decent sized, substantial looking casserole which is certainly significantly lighter than traditional cast iron pots. Unfortunately, I did not note from the picture that the handles had no additional coating and, in fact, become burning hot on the hob. This limits its use as a 'one pot' hob-to- oven casserole as its very awkward to stir the contents on the hob whilst wearing oven gloves. Otherwise, it looks and feels good and cleans easily (dishwasher safe is a bonus), but overall disappointing.
