4 Stay-Put Chopping Boards

Had these boards over 10 years . Would just like to replace the red one as I use very sharp knife with red meat and is marked. Well worth the money. Perhaps will indulge in complete new set

An excellent set of chopping boards - each for different foods. As the name suggests, they do not slide on top of a work surface. As both sides can be used they last longer.

I replaced a similar set I have had for years. Good with colour coding.

My old boards with the image of veg, fish etc molded in were much better, to avoid them moving I used a cork mat underneath. This set, green board edge is more a bluey-green and could be difficult to tell the difference for anyone visually impaired. The non slip edge does work. I have noticed the surface of the boards mark easily (more then my previous ones) I therefore use my old red one for raw chicken this new one for red meat. The chopping area can be slippy if your products are wet such as raw meat/fish.

I have read all 36 previous reviews of these chopping boards and find it amazing that nobody has mentioned the major fault that I have discovered in that the cutting surface is so slippery as to make working on it dangerous. I have had several near misses when cutting veg. and fruit such as potatoes, tomatoes, mangoes and pineapples. The board's surface acts like a skating rink and applying even minor pressure to make cuts risks knife-to-hand damage as the object suddenly moves. A non-slip surface is essential. Sorry, but this is a bad design.
