Very sharp, solid & heavy but well-balanced. Cuts through anything - I have used for such things as venison necks (probably not what it's designed for but it made light work of the job). I actually bought several different knives from the same range at the same time, and realised that my old set of knives, which I always thought were fine, were actually ancient & blunt! I would recommend this range to anyone.
Lakeland Fully Forged Stainless Steel Filleting Knife 15.5cm Blade 5 "All rounder" William 15 January 2014 Labelled as a filliting knife, however it does the lot. A heavy, quality product that does most tasks well. I have a Norwegian filliting knife that has a more flexible blade for finer work but is no use for tougher jobs. This knife has it in spades.
