No Mess Wooden Bread Board with Crumb Catcher Drawer

My sister-in-law has a similar breadboard and I have been searching for one for ages. I do not agree with any of the adverse reviews. The only comment I have is that the little knob on the drawer would be far nicer in wood rather than the cheap-looking plastic silver one.

The bread board was bought a few years ago, works well and catches many of the crumbs generated. However, the 2 supports for the slats each consisted of 2 sections and were not made from single pieces of wood. The join in the support parted and the slats above broke when honey was being spread on a slice of toast that was resting on the board - not exactly heavy pressure being applied. Disappointed with the design flaw as otherwise a great product. Now we need to look for a replacement as it is beyond repair.

this is a nice looking item and an excellent concept. it's a good size and a nice colour.......but the drawer doesn't slide easily so crumbs still tip onto floor and the screw for the little knob for pulling out the drawer is totally the wrong length and fit so i've had to cobble something together. disappointing

Our present board is fine but we also needed to add rubber buffers to stop it moving around. The manufacturer needs to ensure the cutting slats have no shakes or knots as some the slats in our present board have split. Hence a replacement is needed

this is rubbish. it is very weak and if you slice a big loaf of bread (e.g tiger loaf) then the crumbs still get scattered far and wide - this certainly is only big enough for very small bread etc. and i never have small bread in my restraurant. stupid to make it so small. a waste of money. don't buy unless you use small loaves of bread etc. i am not often disapointed with lakeland stuff. :(
