No Mess Wooden Bread Board with Crumb Catcher Drawer

Having used something similar in the 70's I was delighted to be able to buy an updated version. It does the job well, is neat and can even be stood up on end to save space. The only drawback is that it slides about when being used as I discovered when it hit my ceramic fruit bowl into a wall (RIP!). A short-term solution is to place it on a damp cloth but better still, purchase some adhesive backed silicone/rubber pads which do an admirable job of stabilising the board. I'm surprised these haven't been included as standard rather than having to go and buy them myself.

My sister-in-law has a similar breadboard and I have been searching for one for ages. I do not agree with any of the adverse reviews. The only comment I have is that the little knob on the drawer would be far nicer in wood rather than the cheap-looking plastic silver one.

Our present board is fine but we also needed to add rubber buffers to stop it moving around. The manufacturer needs to ensure the cutting slats have no shakes or knots as some the slats in our present board have split. Hence a replacement is needed

Love the look of this breadboard and the drawer is very handy to catch the crumbs but my husband finds it difficult to cut the bottom of the slice as he finds that the knife catches on the slats. Also, it's pretty tough; we (accidentally) dropped a cast iron sauce pan on it and it only broke one of our slats! (which we were able to fix with glue)

this is a nice looking item and an excellent concept. it's a good size and a nice colour.......but the drawer doesn't slide easily so crumbs still tip onto floor and the screw for the little knob for pulling out the drawer is totally the wrong length and fit so i've had to cobble something together. disappointing
