I do not agree with any of the adverse reviews. The only comment I have is that the little knob on the drawer would be far nicer in wood rather than the cheap-looking plastic silver one. Sam 16 September 2011 Having used something similar in the 70's I was delighted to be able to buy an updated version. It does the job well, is neat and can even be stood up on end to save space. The only drawback is that it slides about when being used as I discovered when it hit my ceramic fruit bowl into a wall (RIP!). A short-term solution is to place it on a damp cloth but better still, purchase some adhesive backed silicone/rubber pads which do an admirable job of stabilising the board. I'm surprised these haven't been included as standard rather than having to go and buy them myself. A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. No Mess Wooden Bread Board with Crumb Catcher Drawer 4 "The no mess bread board" Thelma Richardson 31 December 2014 Our present board is fine but we also needed to add rubber buffers to stop it moving around. The manufacturer needs to ensure the cutting slats have no shakes or knots as some the slats in our present board have split. Hence a replacement is needed
