Lakeland Compact Cling Dispenser

Didn’t read any reviews before I bought this as so imagine my horror when I saw all the negative reviews. I don’t know why people are struggling to use it, it does exactly what it says on the tin. It fits perfectly in the drawer, it does close but I prefer to leave it open as it is a bit fiddly to open again. If you give it a sharp tug with the serrated edge on the bottom, it cuts perfectly. I admit the cling film I bought from the supermarket is too big, but I bought the Lakeland cling film which fits perfectly and is excellent quality. Don’t be put off, this is a wonderful product.

I absolutely love Lakeland products but not this one! No matter which way I load the clingfilm or hold the dispenser, so far I haven't managed to master it!Having chewed up another roll (a small one, fortunately) I have now thrown it to the back of a cupboard in disgust. I may give it another go (perhaps a larger, heavier roll which will weight it down) when I can summon up the goodwill and strength to try again but, for now, I can only give this product one star and advise that only customers with an infinite degree of patience (and at least one spare roll of clingfilm) try this dispenser.

This is a great asset in my kitchen. Easy to use & cuts cleanly so no more wasted clingfilm.

I have bought lots of Lakeland products and always been delighted however I feel I must warn other people that this dispenser is useless and not fit for purpose. I did persevere but I must confess I could never get it to work properly.

I find this product so useful it stores my cling film in a nice tidy container and is so easy to use just pull and tear its as simple as that my only question is why I didn't get one earlier?
