"Great idea, but..."

Saw this on the website and loved the idea of it, and since my old collapsible colander is on its last legs I decided to give it a go. However it's incredibly slow to drain and the drainage holes got blocked very easily by bits of food, so often it doesn't drain at all. Disappointed as I had high hopes for this but so far it looks like it's been a waste of money.

Thanks for placing your review. As the area covered by the drain holes is small, it will drain at a slower rate than larger, more traditional colanders. I'll be in touch shortly to help.

"Clever idea!"

Such a clever idea to be able to collapse the colander down as it takes up so little space in the kitchen cupboard -it fact, it fits on top of the collapsible salad spinner perfectly! No drips at all when the twist bottom is sealed closed and drains perfectly when twisted open. Thanks to Lakeland for replacing the faulty item so quickly.
