With a cast iron base which can be used on any heat source, or on its own as a baking dish in the oven, the lid is made from earthenware, so steam re-condenses into water droplets on its cool walls, to fall back into the ingredients and keep food moist. Freezer and oven safe up to 260°C. Suitable for ALL hobs (incl. induction).
