"Great pan!"
I was really pleased with the cakes baked in this pan. A little squirt of cake release and they just popped out. I was dreading them sticking. They look really cute and as if a long time was spent making them. Really pleased.

Received this pan as a birthday present, usually I love unusual Lakeland products but was really disappointed with this. Yes the cakes are small, but are a funny inbetween size - not mini but not average sized either - they are sort of toadstool shaped and the base looks out of proportion to the larger tops. I made a chocolate batch but there is only a small indent to put filling in the base, and if you ice the top in anyway you cover up the detail you have paid a lot of money to get! Overpriced for what it is, I get nicer results using a mini muffin tin.
Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I'm sorry that the tin didn't meet with your expectations. I'll be in touch shortly.
The idea is good but the difficulty for me was in getting the sponge out of the pan. I used cake release and flour on the pan and followed the instructions to the letter but the end result was disappointing. I have persevered and tried it a number of times with no improvement.
Thanks for taking the time to write your review. Always grease the tin thoroughly and allow cup cakes to cool before removing.
