"Gorgeous grater" star star star star star I dithered about buying this grater because it's so expensive but finally decided to treat myself - and it is fantastic. Everything glides smoothly over the blades and the lack of effort required is much appreciated. What can I grate next?
"wonderful grater" star star star star star I cook cakes for the local farm shop and lemon drizzle is one of everyone's favourites but, with arthritis in my left thumb, zesting 20+ lemons a week was very painful. Then I bought this grater and joy of joys, pain free! And good cakes!
"A great grater" star star star star star_border Also thought twice about buying due to the price but it is well worth the cost. It is so much better than the one I was using before, the side slice does courgette and carrot superbly for stir fries. It washes so well in the dishwasher too. One word of warning though I sliced quite a large chunk off my finger end grating carrot, very sore.
"No longer beautifully sharp" star star star_border star_border star_border This review is for an older version of this product Beautifully Sharp It is expensive for a cheesegrater, but my goodness, the difference from our old one. Instead of the usual heavy scrubbing motion and shredded messes building up, you get a gentle swipe and a clean cut. It's been used so far for grating apples, cheeses, breadcrumbs, and zesting oranges and lemons. Here's hoping it lasts for many years! Update 20.12.11 Yes, we thought this grater was wonderful to start with. But in less than two months it was no better than the cheap old thing that we'd been using for years. Definitely not worth thirty pounds. We are now buying a different one. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for updating your review on the grater. I'm sorry that the item has been such a disappointment and I'll be in touch shortly to help.
