Pirate Party Cupcake Kit

I'd have to agree with other reviewers. Bought this kit to make a cupcake tower for my daughters birthday tomorrow. The cases were squashed and misshapen. Most of the cases have now folded in on themselves. I've perservered as nothing else to do at 9pm the day before but my daughter will have a very odd shaped cupcake tower in the morning. It's a shame because the cases and the kit isn't poor quality but the cases obviously need better protection as they're being transported and stored.

I bought this for my son's pre-school as they were having a pirate theme week! They were fantastic, not like the other reviews, not squashed and no problems with the toppers, all in perfect condition and not falling apart at all. A great success and appreciated by all concerned and many asked where they were from. Thank you for coming up with a new idea!

I was really looking forward to using these for my grandson's birthday. How I wish I had looked at the review before buying, everything she states happened to me and also the pictures (on the sticks) started to come away from the board and I kept having to press them back on, which was a bit embarrasing at the party with other Mums looking on. If these were a couple of pound, OK, what would you expect.The packaging was far more elaborate and sturdy than the actual item!! These were very expensive for what they are and frankly I feel conned. Lakeland, I adore you, but not these.

Like the previous review really happy to find pirate themed cases & toppers. Have just looked at the display picture and there is no way my cakes were ever going to look like these because they were so flattened in the packaging. I even tried squeezing them and tried in vain to shape them. The pirates at this party will be eating splodgy star shapes cakes. Gave this two stars only because the toppers are great.

I recently purchased the pirate party kit and was super excited to make my pirate cupcakes. I was very disappointed in the packaging even though the quality of the product was as you'd expect from Lakeland. The cases were squashed into the box and had totally lost their shape. The end result meant either the cases came away from the cakes or they pleated and didn't form a perfectly round edge with the wrappers folding into the mixture. These were pretty expensive for essentially cases and sticks so overall I am disappointed with the item.
