"Good tongs"

These are good, useful tongs: the lock holds them firmly closed and the silicone coating means no more scratched pans. I had problems with my original pair, as they kept trapping my hand when opened, but the replacement pair are fine so it seems to be an isolated problem. The spring is very strong, though, and I find it makes my hand ache after a while, so these might not be suitable for anyone with weak hands.
