"It's great - with a little improvisation" star star star star star I too purchased this container and found it was not tall enough for my spaghetti. Just as I was about to snip half an inch off the strands to make them fit I suddenly remembered I had a Lock & Lock onion dome so I used the lid from that and it's great. I can still use the bottom of the onion dome with the spaghetti container flat lid to store chopped herbs for freezing. I just need to purchase another onion dome;-)
"Undersized" star star_border star_border star_border star_border A great idea, but I found it's not quite tall enough and I couldn't fasten the lid. Shall return it, and instead have ordered a 2litre rectangular container which is a vital 1.2cm taller. Sadly, I couldn't find it on the Lakeland website, so am buying it elsewhere, where a reviewer states it will hold a 2kg packet, which will also suit me.
"Not for Spaghetti" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I went into Lakeland and found this excellent box - I was so disappointed when I got home and found it was too short for Spaghetti - you can fit in half a box at an angle. Because we are retired I couldn't justify the 40 mile round trip to return it to the Lincoln store, so have used it for other pasta. But I've had to buy the same 2lt box, mentioned by the other review, elsewhere, as Lakeland don't stock it. I know the photo of the product shows the spaghetti at an angle but I thought that was artistic, not necessity. Really didn't want to end up buying 2 boxes. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to chat about your review. It's worth noting that the length of spaghetti can vary between different brands
