Not only will this clever tool keep an eye on both temperature and time for you, it will also look after two joints of meat at the same time, whether beef, pork, lamb or chicken. Simply insert one or both of the probes, choose from 16 preset temperatures from rare to well done, close the oven door and then relax, knowing the timer on your worktop will alert you with a beep and flashing display when each roast reaches the correct temperature. Measures in °C/°F. Countdown timers can be set up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. Batteries incl.

"Good idea - very complicated set up!"

My first thermometer was faulty so had to go back. It is a very good idea if you are cooking a large piece of meat or poultry as you can put a probe in a part that cooks quickly and the centre of the meat/bird and then decide which you want to reach the correct temperature to your taste. The instruction book is minute and very difficult to read and as this is quite a complicated piece of kit it would be great if the instructions were larger and more succinct.
