Yellow poachpod®

I consider myself to be a reasonable cook but have always struggled with poached eggs. These are fantastic, no more wet stringy whites, all the egg goes on the plate now. Have purchased more sets as gifts for the teenagers leaving home as they love them too.

Very convenient for people, who's poached eggs usually look like roadkills (me)

At last, poached eggs with a runny middle! Previously used a microwave one with bad results. But love these poach pods. Just remember to keep a lid on and they'll be perfect eggs. Even impressed the husband!! Going to buy another pair.

Hi, I was in too great a rush to wait the 4 mins for my pod poached egg, I decided to 'risk' trying to cook one in the microwave oven. I greased the pod with butter, pierced the yolk with a knife, placed pod in a lidded microwavable dish and set timer to 2nd highest power setting for 1 minute 10 seconds. Result was just a little bit overdone, but still very edible with my toast. Next day I pierced yolk 3 times and tried 1 minute 5 seconds at 2nd power setting - result excellent. Repeated daily and enjoying my eggs in the time it takes to butter my toast.

I left the lid on the pan and the eggs turned out wonderful in no time. I'm thinking of less calories than fried eggs, and these offer the same great taste, without too much oil. I'm a fan.
