"Use nearly every day"
I have had this for a few months and find it really brilliant.Use it every morning for perfect porridge; and use the rice function too.It works equally well for brown and white rice - but you do have to follow instruction quantities carefully. Great keep warm function.If we get Indian takeout, I make the rice in this to make it more economical.Great for all-in-one dinner. Put two cups Basmati rice; three raw salmon fillets; bunch of fresh or thawed frozen leaf spinach; 1 tablespoon melted butter; some lemon juice; salt and pepper; + 400mls water into rice maker. Press 'rice' function, go away and come back in about 15-20 mins to fully cooked dinner.I haven't used the slow cooker since I already have one.
