Whoopie Pie Tin

I agree with the previous reviewer. I too felt that I needed an additional tin if I wanted my whoopies to be a uniform shape and size. However, although I did not have a problem removing the whoopies from the tin, I don't entirely trust non-stick surfaces. Therefore I thought that it would be good to have some mini-parchment discs to use in the bottom of the tin. Any chance Lakeland?

I bought this on impulse and I have been totally bowled away. I made red velvet whoope pies with a vanilla cream cheese filling. My family could not get enough of them. The following day I made some more red velvet and then some caramel with choclate butter cream filling. My children and husband cannot get enough of them. These are great and the tin is fantastic, higly recommended.

cant believe these are going, just ordered two more, they are the most popular things i make specially the red velvet ones, going to try the key lime ones :) would recommend to anyone Makes a large amount so need extra tins but well worth it for the praise and the fun in making them, going to try making oreo ones from my head~!!!! Good baking everyone = grab them quick

Another fantastic idea, I agree with a previous reviewer tin could have been larger, but on the whole lovely uniform shapes, I love it.

I bought this tin when I saw it on display next to copies of "The Whoopie Pie Book". I had recently been given the book as a gift and thought that it would be useful to have a dedicated tin for baking the "Whoopies" in.It's a very good quality tin and the Whoopies I made in it came out a lovely shape and didn't stick (I had greased it with "Cake Release" first). However, a small problem was that all the recipes in the book are for 9 Whoopie Pies, which means 18 Whoopies (as 2 are sandwiched together to make a "Pie"!) and the tin only has 12 recesses. It would have been much more convenient if it had been a bigger tin with 18 recesses in as in the end I had to make some on another tray.The price is very good value for a quality tin and I would have been prepared to pay more for a larger one. However, having had to make extra Whoopies on a separate tray I can also compare and say that it's nicer to have them such a uniform shape and size when made in this tin, as it makes them easier to put together. I think I'll probably buy another one of these to use half of in future.
