"Brilliant idea" star star star star star I am really impressed by this product. After accumulating a number of different style knives over the years which did not fit properly into my existing knife block, when I had a new kitchen I decided to get this. It looks good and it is easy to fit in various sized knives keeping them safe and giving easy access for use.
"Rated ‘great’ by not easily impressed hubby !" star star star star star I bought this when we moved house as we have a number of different knives and needed a block that would look smart (this definitely fits the bill when it comes to looking smart) and yet keeps knives easily to hand for everyday use. My hubby is not normally easily impressed but he described this as one of the best items you have bought ~ praise indeed!
"Great when new" star star star star_border star_border I am on my third one of these. The first split just after a year and was replaced. The second developed problems in getting the knives in after a couple of years. I contacted customer service to find out how to remove the rods (as has been suggested) as I couldnt get them out. I was told that they werent removable and received another replacement. This clearly stated on the box that the rods were removable and they easily slid out. They are fixed into a plastic base so you wouldnt be able to remove tangled ones. Having said that I love the way it accommodates different knife sizes. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. "Lovely Product" star star star star star This knife block is attractive to look at, but more importantly, it is a very good way to store knives. The bamboo fibers are an excellent way of protecting the knives and means that you can safely store knives of various sizes without damaging the blades or tips.
"Great but..." star star star star_border star_border Brilliant looking, spacious but as other reviews after a while the black strands seem to bend within which prevents you sliding knives in. I trimmed a few of them which seemed to work but the problem has started reoccurring.
