I've received it today and I really like them!! Colors are so bright like on the picture. Now I have to use them asap !! For Easter they will be perfect as a decoration
Loved the idea of these egg buckets but wish I had read the other reviews first. After one use the letters started rubbing away, exchanged them for a new set and the same has happened! I thought about trying the nail varnish trick mentioned in another review but decided I shouldn't have to go to such lengths for egg cups! Bit disappointed with Lakeland for not rectifying the problem, or at the very least removing them from their stores, considering the reviews date back to last year!

After seeing the reviews and having just bought a pack I decided to buy some hard wearing nail varnish and paint over the word eggs! It worked. Now I can wash them with no problems. Enjoy
While I love the look of these buckets they don't stand up to normal use. Two of the four "EGGS' badly smudged the very first time they were washed (handwashed as advised, not dishwasher).

A lovely idea and a disappointment to find that sadly the Egg Buckets do not meet Lakeland's usually excellent quality. I had to return two boxes to my local store as most of the Buckets were finished badly with chips and flaws in the paint. These flaws were not visible in the packaging but on closer inspection were so obvious. I do not feel that the Buckets would withstand washing so if a customer is lucky to find a perfect set they would be fine as decoration only.
