Lékué Citrus Press

I love this and have found it extremely easy to use. I notice from other reviews that people are complaining about lemon juice going over them when they try and put a half lemon into this. I have never had that problem but then I've never put a lemon in straight down, I've always put the half lemon in at an angle as it's so much easier to get it in, it just slips in very easily - so possibly this is why some people are having problems with this. I really am impressed with this invention and so pleased that I bought it.

I really wanted this to work. It's not a success at all though. The whole point of it is to squeeze the lemon without getting covered in citrus oil and juice. However it's slippery to get in the container, it doesn't extract as much juice as traditional juicers and if you get firm with it, the juice comes out of the top anyway! I've gone back to my old glass juicer. Useless for me!

I am not surprised that this item has been discontinued! It is awkward to use because you have to push the cut half of a lemon right into it, past the narrow neck. It is awkward to grip. And most importantly of all, it does not even extract as much juice from a lemon as my ancient common and garden, plastic lemon reamer - because I tried it! First I used this citrus press and then I squeezed the same lemon round on my old reamer and sure enough quite a bit more juice came out of it. So in my opinion this is fit only for the dustbin.

This squeezer is great for lemons, oranges and limes. Remember to use room temperature fruit. It's so simple to use, just juice, no pips. Easy to wash. A great buy.

Well, first of all I can't get half a lemon to fit into this gadget. Either I'm using lemons with too large a diameter, or the gadget that I bought is faulty and doesn't stretch enough to get the lemon in! Second of all, after deciding to squeeze the lemon juice into the gadget by hand and use it as a 'sieve' (so as not to have completely wasted my money), I found I kept having to move the pips out of the way of the spout with my finger in order for the lemon juice to pour through the hole. Would've been easier and cheaper to squeeze by hand and remove the pips manually! Can't recommend it.
