"Slightly Too Sweet"

Bought this to go with the Yogurt maker which was on special offer for £1.00. The instructions are easy to follow and the yogurt itself is beautiful but this particular flavour though rich and creamy is slightly too sweet for my husband and myself. I would happily eat it with tart berries etc but on its own it was not pleasant for me and I usually adore sweet things. I have bought several other flavours to see if I have better luck with them.

I had no bother with this yogurt setting, I always whisk the mixture in a jug and then tip it into the container,it set in five hours! But I decided to leave it overnight as I found it rather sweet! Hopefully this may make it less sweet!it taste like sweet milkshake,we prefer the plain ones just tried this for a change.i always use boiling water and change the water after four hours and up to know they have always set solid!!

I recently bought the yoghurt maker and an abundance of sachets having tried the Strawberries and Cream yoghut in store. I loved the taste and texture and have now tried two batches, the first came out like pink milk, the second very lumpy. After the first attempt I spoke to a lady in store who gave me some tips and very kindly replaced my first sachet. I still have a number of other sachets to use and am worried that they won't come out as they did in store, can you offer more advice please, I followed the Easiyo instructions to the letter?

We're sorry that despite following the Easiyo instructions they've not set well. Another reviewer has provide feedback which we think will help and provide better results. They said: I had some problems with the yoghurt setting overnight when the temperature of my kitchen was low. I found that putting extra boiling water in at the start helped. Also insulating the flask a little more i.e. wrapping a thick towel or similar round it, or placing the flask in a warmer place, i.e. airing cupboard. I've found that some mixes do need almost 24 hours to set properly, and it doesn't seem to do it any harm at all.

I like this as much as the peaches and cream. I am not a fan of the flavoured easiyo yogurts, I much prefer the greek but these are different - not too sweet and a natural flavour. Are also great added to the cheesecake mix.
