Box Appetit - Large Lunch Box

My Mum bought myself and my partner one of these each for our work lunches. I was rather shocked when I found out the price but was very pleased with the product for the first few times we used them. However, we noticed that both the small pot and the whole lunchbox were prone to leaking so we only used them on rare occasions. However, today we both used them and they both leaked (a lot) and apparently one of the handles has snapped off my partner's lid. Brilliant product if they actually worked...however, 30GBP for two leaky, poor quality lunchboxes...not so good. V disappointed.

I bought this product with great anticipation, and for the first few times I used it, I couldn't have been happier with my purchase. The box is the perfect size and shape, and I loved all the compartments. However today I decided to put some salad dressing into the dipping pot, and it leaked out into the main box area whilst in my bag. The box itself is liquid tight, and although the other compartments bang around a bit, it was not a problem until I opened it. Maybe I'm expecting a little too much, but for 15 pounds at a reliable outlet such as Lakeland, I was hoping for no less than perfect

Looks nice, but for me too heavy for a lunchbox. The extra containers it comes with inside, there seems to be little room for anything else, making the whole thing bulky but not fully usable. Two stars because it is watertight and the attaching fork would be useful.

Great looking box and I love the idea of the separate little pot as I take salad to work for lunch and wanted to keep the dressing separate. I also wanted something leak-proof. I read all the reviews before buying and decided that as long as I was careful in closing the pot inside the box, all would be well. Sadly not! Both times I have used the box it has leaked everywhere, ruining my lunch and making a terrible mess. Due to the shape of my Lakeland confetti lunch bag, I have to store the lunch box on its side, but I would hope that at £17 this would have been factored into its design?

I pretty much love this lunch box. The first 2 I bought were always hard to close and the lid clips eventually broke as per previous reviews. Lakeland were great as always and replaced the whole thing. Now there is a slightly different design which helps the lid/closing issue and so far they have held. I particularly like the fact that I now take eg. a piece of chicken, some salad and salad dressing to work instead of boring sandwiches. Great on picnics, too. The corner pot's a little small for my needs and the dressing pot does leak if the dressing is very watery but on the whole a great item
