When i first tried this i had the US version of the recipe sheet and my attempt at converting to UK failed. After contacting the customer service department i now have the UK version. What a difference! I used a new Baking Genius baking sheet and it worked a treat. Made in total 108 biscuits with 1 batch of dough ( it says about 4 dozen) It all washes really well and can't wait to use again.
My experience with the recipe given by the cookie press did not work well. My own recipe worked well. 300 g flour, 200 g butter, 150 g icing sugar and a small egg. Oven 170 C and 15 min baking time. We enjoy the cookies even in The Netherlands.

This cookie press is fantastic. I was dubious after reading some of the reviews regarding using a non-non-stick baking sheet, but the BakingGenius sheet works fine. The recipes in the booklet are easy to follow (though beware the typo' calling for 20oz of flour, instead of 10) and for those of you who, like me, aren't au fait with american terminology, all-purpose flour is plain flour. My only grumble is that I'd like more shapes, perhaps in a separate pack!
Arrived today and had to give it a go straight away. Oven on and mixing bowl out, I was good to go. After converting cups to OZ( and can we even buy a 1/2 cup or 4oz stick of butter?) my dough was ready. Loading the press was easier than I was expecting, and using my trusty old enamel baking sheet, I now have a tin full of heart and dinosaur? cookies. Two little boy's (aged 3 and 19 months) helped mix the dough and press the cookies, big smiles from both when it was time to taste test. Even with my little helpers I found the press easy to load, use and clean, it will be used again.
I made these according to the recipe - American measurements but easy to convert. Made at least double the amount they said and they are just 'melt-in-the-mouth' gorgeous. Went down really well at work. Just had to remember to use plain four though as they grew and lost their shape when I used SR.
