A cross between a scraper, a scoop and a ladle, we’re sure this is one kitchen essential you’ll wonder how you managed without.
Unlike a round-bottomed ladle, the flat ‘spatula’ edge of the Scrudle reaches right into corners ensuring every last morsel makes it from pot to plate.
Winner of the Finish Diamond Standard Innovation Challenge, it’s set to solve the problem of emptying casseroles and pans of those last few servings of stew or soup.
Designed by housewife Margaret O’Callaghan, the judges, led by innovative chef Heston Blumenthal, were impressed by how her invention dealt with an everyday kitchen niggle.
Margaret has been involved in creating this fab gadget from initial sketch through to the end product, and Heston said: "...her product was innovative, practical and something that I can actually see myself using in the kitchen."

I love this little utensil and use it for everything from serving soup and risotto, to measuring out small amounts of liquid. It cleans up in the dishwasher and sits out on the worktop so it's in easy reach. I would love it if Lakeland could source an identical product made from silicone which would really help in getting every last drop of a meal out of the slow cooker

I have just purchased one of these and I must admit I wondered just what it would do to help me in the kitchen, well now I know,I can not believe just how clean it scrapes those pans of the last little bit of food..really great, do try one, you wont regret it !!
Bought this some time ago and haven't really used it for its intended purpose no matter, its great for measuring out small amounts of liquid etc for baking, for eg. And its so small it fits anywhere! Thanks Lakeland for a great little product.
This is indeed as useful as everyone says in other reviews. One of my favourite uses is for weighing ingredients to add to baking, on my digital scales pad. Incredibly handy in general, so much use for just a few pounds.
