"Lovely useful book" star star star star star This is a great book, covers tips and techniques in clear pictures, savoury pies, sweet pies, savoury tarts, sweet tarts, and mini mouthfuls. Not a lot new compared to other books but it does have some nice recipes. Made chicken and leek pie with puff pastry top and it was lovely. The recipe for Apple and cinnamon turnovers is good too. Lovely useful book.
"delicious" star star star star star_border This is a very good book and great value for money. My only criticism is that as I live on my own I tend to make small, individual pies. It would be very helpful if freezing (or non-freezing) advice were given as in the slow cooker book, then I would have given it 5 stars
