Disappointed with this item. Need a deep pan to accommodate egg standing up plus egg holder. Consequently needed 3 pints of water to cover the egg. A lot of electricity to make one boiled egg for my granddaughter. Abandoned the idea and did it the old fashioned way!

this was one of my worst purchases as you need to place the eggs in a tall pan with so much water it took an eternity to boil and was a waste of gas boiling so much water. as i bought two packs one pack will have been of no use at all

I bought this for my husband who fishes his boiled eggs out of the pan with a teaspoon. And he still does! As with the other reviewers, he refuses to use the huge amount of water and gas needed to cook the eggs in these holders. And, as I discovered, half-covered eggs don't cook! Lakeland products are usually so good.
