What a handy scale! Salter have combined a measuring jug that can be used independently and a scale, so both liquid and dry ingredients can be measured with ease. There’s an add-and-weigh function to measure multiple ingredients into the jug, or you could use a bowl on the base if you prefer. You can switch from metric to imperial and from UK to US measurements, helping home bakers to follow recipes with accuracy.

Measures up to 1.5kg in 1g, 3lb 7oz in 1/8oz, 1.5L in 1ml and 55fl oz in 1/8fl oz increments, and up to 6.5 cups.

"Poor vision? Beware!"

I bought these scales to replace our finally exhausted set. I opted for Salter again as they are generally very reliable product. In fairness, this product is fine for me; however, my partner has deteriorating eyesight & just cannot use them without resorting to magnifying glasses! The display is not bright enough to view in anything other than good light. Have decided to pass them on & make another purchase - this time I am going for the giant display...
