"Wonderful idea" star star star star star I love these labels! I have a 9 month old and make up a large amount of batch meals which I freeze. before these labels my poor son had a few mystery meals as I wasnt sure what was contained in the little tub in the freezer, in a few cases I defrosted pear instead of parsnip which made some interesting meals, although apple & mashed potato was a big hit! These labels are wonderful, I just pop the whole dish in the dishwasher, then when clean, rub out any of the print which is left ready for relabelling. Genius!
"Good idea, but...." star star star star_border star_border Great idea. The writing doesn't smudge, can be wiped off and reused, but beware that of the 70 labels nearly half (32) of the labels are the smallest size 7/8" by 1/2" and quite frankly there isn't much you can write on that size. "Nuts" may be? If you want to add best before dates, or date of freezing then there simply isn't the room. Additionally the blurb says that the label will stay stuck for UP TO 6 months. For the price I would have expected them to stick longer than that, but perhaps that is with frequent washing? The idea gets 5 stars, but value for money reduces that to 3 stars.
"Erasable labels" star star star star_border star_border Not used them yet as I was expecting to be able to wipe off the writing to re-use, but am finding I have to use 91% alcohol. What to I therefore use? I don't want to start using them then be unable to erase them easily. Can you help please? support_agent A note from the team The erasable label kit comes with it's own permanent ink eraser pen, which you can use to erase the labels. You can also use 91% alcohol if preferred. Thanks for your review.
