When it comes to designing the perfect dish for this traditional French, upside-down apple tart, we can't think of a better partnership – Michelin-starred chef extraordinaire Raymond Blanc has joined forces with world-renowned French company Emile Henry to launch this premium quality piece in a beautiful shade of rich red.
The handmade Flame® ceramic is much lighter than cast iron, and has been fired at a really high temperature so it's strong enough to be used directly on the hob without a diffuser to caramelise the apple. Once baked, the serving plate fits on top of the dish so you can tip the whole thing over to release the tart – the glaze acts like non-stick so it's no trouble to turn out either!
