What could be better than a bowl of deliciously refreshing ice cream on a hot, sunny day? Maybe if it was good for you as well, that would be something, wouldn't it? Using all their yoghurt-making know-how, EasiYo have found a way to create just that – a scrummy ice cream mix packed with live probiotic acidophilus, a 'friendly bacteria' that helps look after you from the inside out.
Or if it was low in fat, that would be a big plus too, no? EasiYo have also ticked that box – with under 3% fat, less than half that of normal ice cream, a helping of EasiYo ice cream makes a guilt-free treat.
Home-made? Got that covered too, without the need to mess about with expensive machines or freezing bowls overnight: add water, freeze, whip, freeze – freshly made ice cream! And as if that wasn't enough, just think how much fun kids will have making their own this summer!

This is the first EasiYo ice cream I've done. It's very tasty. Think of a sweet, vanilla rich and soft scoop ice cream and it's this. Use a Kenwood chef whisk attachment (as I did) for the second stage and don't be afraid to go 6-7 minutes on 7 to double the final volume! Really impressive. Who needs an ice cream machine...?
Excellent creamy ice cream from this product when made in my ice cream machine.
Having tried the yoghurt, I thought that I would give the icecream a go. I followed the instructions to the letter but it isn't anything like as creamy as I had expected. I'll try making the second sachet in an icecream machine, but this is unlikely to feature again on my shopping list. It is most unusual for anything from Lakeland to be anything other than wonderful, but on this occasion, "sorry, I'm out!"

To get Easiyo ice cream smooth and creamy mix as directed then freeze for only 45 mins. Remove from freezer and beat on high for 5 mins. Return to freezer for another 45 mins and beat again for 5 mins then freeze until required.
Great - particularly as we live in an area with no ice-cream for 6 hour drive (rural southern Africa). Would appreciate bigger packs though!
