My Kitchen Vegetable Peeler

Oh dear, I recently purchased this peeler on the strength of the Lakeland name but as a soup maker I found it to be useless. My husband also gave it a go because, being left handed, we thought it might work for him but not so.It feebly took the skin off carrots but instead of removing the strings from celery it just glided over the surface. Hopeless. The customer service was excellent when I telephoned to complain.

Unfortunately as I bought this peeler in store, not online, I did not have the benefit of the other review on here to forewarn me. I bought this a month ago and have only used it a couple of times (luckily as ever time I use it it puts me in a bad mood!). It is very awkward to use and not at all what I would expect and have experienced from lakeland in the past.
