Disappointed in this product. It is difficult to turn. The cogs don't seem to mesh properly. Bought a 48p opener from Tesco and it works perfectly. Not up to Lakelands usual standard.

Bought last month in store so didn't read reviews before purchase. Used daily to open one can per day, "ok" but not great at first. After two weeks got gradually harder to turn, now unusable. Disappointed

We have had two of this design of can opener over the past few months and they have both failed in exactly the same way. The pin that rotates when the handle turns has sheared when using the device and complely fallen apart. The product is sub-standard as far as our experience goes and not fit for purpose. I could also mention that ot began to rust after the first wash. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I am bitterly disappointed with this item and would advise others not to get this opener. It is a terrible tin opener. It chews at the tins rather than opening them! Its flimsy, the plastic guard has already pinged off. I have had it only a couple of weeks (bought from Llanelli Lakeland store) and it has already started to rust as well so I do not think it is dishwasher safe as claimed. Really not up to Lakeland standards :(

This tin opener started rusting almost immediately and is now useless. Don't know why you're still selling it!
