"Poor induction performance"
An excellently constructed pan but unfortunately it just does not get anywhere near hot enough on an induction hob. I tried an alternate pan on the same ring and the oil was smoking in less than a minute whereas the Lakeland pan never gets hot enough to even brown anything. I am not a technical person but, as I've never had any problems with induction cookware before and can only suggest that the base doesn't contain enough ferrous material to conduct properly. Excellent response from Lakeland Customer Service who are collecting and refunding but if you have an induction hob, beware this item!

For best results with induction pans, they should be used on a hob that is as near to the size of the induction base as possible. However we understand you have used this pan correctly.
