Individual Oval Pie Dishes

please, please do not change these to round ones-these are are so much more attractive as ovals, you can buy round anywhere and these are just like little game pies

As with the previous reviewers I too didn't realise the dishes were oval, until I received my order. They are a little bit fiddly when it comes to putting in the pastry due to their shape. However despite this I love them. The pastry cooks beautifully on all sides and the size of the pie dish means you have a generously filled pie. In addition to this they're cost effective and good value for money.

Like one of the other reviewers I too didn't realise these were oval dishes until they arrived. The shape does make them a lot more fiddly and time-consuming to line with pastry, especially when preparing batches of pies for the freezer. However, once filled they do bake very well, giving a nice coloured and crisp finish to the sides and bottom. The pack of 50 is good value for money as these are good quality foil and hold their shape and if you wish to wash and re-use them again you can do. A round version of these individual pie dishes however would be even better!

these are lovely little dishes, i did think they where round, not until delivery i realised they where oval, just going to be more difficult to fill with pastry. would be great to have a round version, with the same depth.

I have requested this product for so long, and I was delighted when it finally arrived. Great for one portion pies, even apple crumbles. As a customer of over 30+ years- well done Lakeland again.
