"Beautiful and functional!" star star star star star I think it’s a shame some other reviewers have had a bad experience with their tagine, as mine has been nothing but wonderful! It’s roomy, certainly large enough for a meal for 4, and very versatile. I’ve used it roughly a dozen times now (all oven-cooking, so perhaps the problem is that despite the description in the booklet its actually NOT suitable for stove-top cooking) and its still in pristine condition And aside from serving its purpose cooking wonderful tagines, stews and roasts; it looks fantastic on my shelf when not in use! Very pleased all round.
"Very disappointed" star star star_border star_border star_border I was very pleased with the tagine initially but, although I used it with the heat diffuser, the bottom has fallen out of the base after less than 6 uses. The meals we did have were delicious but I doubt if I would buy another after this experience. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for your review, we'll be in touch shortly about the tagine. We checked with our buyers who advised that after use always allow the tagine to cool completely before handwashing. This will help avoid cracking the ceramic. Hairline cracks may also occur if cold sauces or stock are poured into a warm tagine.
"Broke after 2 uses" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I thought this looked nice and at a good price, but with retrospect I wish I just spent a little more to get one of better quality. First time in oven it developed hairline cracks. Second time the cracks parted and distributed hot contents all over the oven. It’s never been used on the hob and never cold ingredients added when hot. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. Sorry for the problems. I'll be in touch shortly to help.

"Purple Tagine" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I live in Spain and on my sister's annual visit to me recently, I was delighted to find she had bought me this tagine. However, yesterday, my third time of cooking with it, I discovered that the base (the side) had cracked. Before using the tagine I had read and followed the instructions for use. I am very disappointed as I have wanted a tagine for a long time, especially since all the ingredients required for Moroccan cooking are very easy to find here in Spain. support_agent A note from the team We checked with our buyers who advise allowing the tagine to cool completely before handwashing after use to avoid cracking the ceramic, and being careful not to immerse the lid in water. Hairline cracks may also occur if cold sauces or stock are poured into a warm tagine. We'll contact you to help.
