Lakeland EXQ Hand Mixer

I don't agree with previous reviewers. I've found this mixer works just fine even at its slowest speed. Like other hand mixers of this design, all you need to do is angle the blades downwards slightly as you hold the device, so that splashes remain in the bowl rather than spinning out. If you tilt it upwards then of course stuff will splash out. I'm wondering if previous reviewers appreciate that this is the nature of the beast, so to speak. The attachments are a little stiff to eject but I don't doubt they will loosen with use, and anyway, they're really not that bad. A bargain for the £.

I was hugely disappointed with this product. The attachments do not come off easily and are very stiff to remove. The lowest speed is very fast and splats the mixture, even in a large mixing bowl.

Sadly I have to endorse everything that the previous reviewer has said. I gave up using this mixer because it made such a mess even on the lowest speed and was so difficult to use : the controls and the ejection of the beaters were so stiff. My one and only complaint since becoming a customer in the mid 1970`s!!!

I am so disappointed, I am now on my way back to the store to return this product as the whisks are stuck in the machine. This is definitely not up to the normal Lakeland standard. I also agree with the previous comments regarding the slow speed !! This is too aggressive.

As a cake fanatic and Lakeland addict I was really delighted to see this retro style hand mixer. I actually thought it was me being feeble but I too have really experienced problems with this. One button to release the arms is so tough my husband has to and as others have said the mix goes everywhere. I have to try and guard the mix with teatowels and as for letting the children have a go - forget it. Sorry Lakeland this really has been my only gripe on everything I have bought from you.
