Our digitally controlled Steamer has seven preset cooking modes for different types of food, as well as an automatic keep-warm function for added flexibility. Having worn out three (should I say inferior) steamers over the years I am absolutely overjoyed with this steamer. The quality is superb, the cooking time is much shorter and it doesn't drip. The only small drawback is that it is noisier than other steamers I have had but this is probably because the wattage is a lot higher. Well done Lakeland!!!
Well worth the money.I had given up with steamers in the past because of the long heating up time, a kitchen full of steam and the washing up at the end.This steamer heats in up in seconds, is easy to use, and is so easy to clean because of the way the baskets are designed to seperate.A brilliant product thanks Lakeland
I am a devotee of electric steamers and use them every day.I have had three previous steamers whilst they did the job all had drawbacks. There were no reviews when I brought mine so I went to my local Lakeland store to get a good look at it as it is considerably more expensive than my other steamers.I was a little concerned that the plastic tiers were not robust enough but the sales advisor assured me should I ever at any time have a problem the Lakeland no quibble guarantee would replace or refund.Like previous reviewers I cannot speak highly enough of this steamer, steams very quickly, very easy to clean (no descaling need as the element is flat s/s) well worth the money.If I had one criticism of this product it would be that the tiers and trays are not fixed which makes dishing up a bit tricky, also carrot juice stains, which you can normally remove from plastic with cooking oil does not work so the condensed water collector tray is a bit stained but only visible when you take the tiers off so I can live with that.I love it

Really was in two minds whether or not I was willing to pay so much for a steamer but decided in the end that the reviews made it seem worthwhile. I have just used it to cook our Sunday lunch vegetables - and they were perfect! Great colour, good texture, lovely taste and fast cooking time. What more could you want?
We have used this everyday since we bought it a few days ago. It is fantastic.The only thing I would say it would be helpful to have a guide to timings to steam vegetables, I know that is down to preference. The steamer is very quick to get to temperature. We looked at several steamers but decided you get what you pay for and it has not disappointed. We have just ordered a slow cooker from Lakeland so hopefully this will match the very high quality of this steamer.
