Dualit Latteccino

We purchased this product in December, we thought WOW what a wonderful machine at the end of January the milk would not froth only heat up I had a look and the bar which is attached to the motor this was very hard to turn after a few attempts to free it, it started to free up end of febuary it was now getting to be a pain every time we used it we had to free up Motor half way through March we have had enough and will be taking it back to the Bath store to get a refund PS we use it every day and always wash and dry after each time we bought it for the brand name I would not have a replacment I will go back to the empty plastic one pint milk bottle

I love this gadget! The kids constantly use it to make hot chocolate. BUT, the milk never gets hot enough. By the time I've made my lovely frothy drink & sat down, it's more warm than hot (it doesn't actually get that hot to start with). You have to wash it immediately or the milk sticks/burns on the base. Fantastic froth, but just warm milk :(Considered returning it as I can't get a nice hot drink from it, but the kids won't let it go!

I love this gadget, easy to use, easy to clean, does fantastic thick frothy milk to pour onto coffee to get an authentic cappuccino. It's quiet and very quick and looks OK in the kitchen.You can swap the whipper for a lesser whipper and heat up enough milk for a mug of cocoa with less froth.

I was disappointed with this as it does not heat the milk very well if you fill it to the max line. It is okay if you just want to do one small cup but more than that and you get a nearly cold drink. Best to heat milk in a pan and use this to add some froth on top if want to do more than one cup.
