A new bakeware range that spells the end of burnt-bottom baking... and the secret? Cooking on air! Two sheets of carbon steel encapsulate an air pocket, keeping the temperature equal all over which results in even cooking and browning without burning.
Bread, biscuits, cakes and pastries, even those with lots of sugar and butter,won't be overcooked. A double coating of Teflon® Classic non-stick ensures easy release every time, and the reinforced design prevents twisting or warping. And so you can get lots done at once, we've made the oven tray and the baking sheet extra large.

This has to be the best tray I have ever had. Cooks evenly, doesn't scratch or burn and cleans really easily. Yet again - thanks Lakeland. p.s can't wait for a store to open near Swindon!
This looks like a good tray but I never got to try it as despite measuring the oven when it arrived it was fractionally too big to sit on the shelf. Couldn't use without the shelf as then it was fractionally too small.Be very sure it will fit. As always Lakeland were great about refunding but you could save yourself some hassle by knowing it really is wide.
I have four of these good big trays. They are advertised as ok for the dishwasher but water (a lot) gets trapped between the layers and takes a while to drain out after washing. I think this is bound to affect the longevity of the tray as well as being inconvenient and unhygienic.
