Aerobake Range Cake Pan

I bought this a couple of months ago. Like the reviewer above I was unaware of the hole in the base. I suspect this is to allow for expansion whilst cooking. Annoyingly I didn't find any noticeable difference as to the cooking ability over a standard single skinned pan and when washing up it is difficult to get the water out of the little drain hole. My longer term concern is if this leads to the pan rusting through or failing due to residule amounts of water in the base. I personally wouldn't buy again.

Very good quality, not thin like some, but why the hole in the bottom of the pan ?? every time I washed it up I was puzzled as to where puddles of water were coming from until I discovered the hole, even when laying it on a newspaper to drainovernight, water still managed to appear when putting it away.
