Full-tang and fully forged from a single billet of German stainless steel, these kitchen knives also have a hand-applied 15° edge for superior sharpness that lasts, for more hygienic cutting and slicing.

Coming from the typical £25 knife set with kitchen block, this knife was a massive step up... It's halved the time of cutting the ingredients and it's extremely comfortable to use. An elegant feature in the corner of the kitchen.
This knife is the best I have ever used, after more than a year of use it is still super sharp !! I've never used a knife that I havnt had to drag through whatever I'm cutting until I was introduced to Robert Welch . Well worth the investment :)
As a professional caterer I have a variety of Japanese, French, Swiss and German knives, but felt the need for a smaller-bladed chef knife for the more delicate slicing and chopping jobs. I owned a set of Robert Welch designed Kitchen Devils pro knives many years ago and remember how well they performed. this signature knife maintains that standard. The blade is razor-sharp and the knife sits beautifully in the hand. A truly excellent product!
What a knife! You cannot wish for better quality, with the knife perfectly weighted and comfortable to handle. It is still razor sharp after weeks if not months of use.
The ergonomics on this knife are really good, and the blade beautifully sharp - to the point it can even cut ripe tomatoes nicely. This is my go to knife for most kitchen tasks as it is so nice to handle and a perfect size - it's what I bought it for so a good thing!
