Ideal for smaller spaces thanks to its compact brewing unit. Making espressos at the push of a button, cappuccino and latte can also be prepared with the help of the new and improved, larger Aeroccino, which heats and froths milk to creamy perfection. Just pour fresh milk into the kettle-style stainless steel jug and switch on.

Like all Nespresso machines, the M100 is equipped with a Thermoblock system, heating water to the optimum temperature without scalding the coffee. A high-pressure, 19-bar pump draws out the full richness and aroma from the capsule, resulting in a luxurious crema every time.

To get you started, Nespresso have included 16 capsules, each of which will make one perfect cup. With no grinding, no loose coffee and no mess, it's a foolproof way of enjoying your coffee. To discover the blends and purchase the capsules (around 25p each) become a member at the Nespresso site.

The M100 also boasts a power save mode, switching itself off 30 minutes after last use, for a more energy-efficient performance.
