Garlic Peel

I was a bit sceptical about whether this would work as well as I hoped, and I couldn't believe the results - it really is as easy as it looks, and couldn't work any better.I am a keen kitchen gardener, but last year I put some of my garlic in a bit late which resulted in some small cloves. As I had grown them myself I couldn't bear to throw them away so I used to spend ages peeling them. This is a godsend. Thanks Lakeland.

utterly brilliant! very clever and looks good

Like the other reviewer I thought that perhaps my garlic was a bit old hence it wouldn't peel properly. Tried a fresh clove and still didn't do a great deal. I've resorted back to using the flat side of a knife and having smelly garlic fingers again.

Tried and tried again to peel garlic with this to no avail. It doesn't even part peel, I would advise not to waste your money or time on this. Disappointing as peeling garlic is fiddly work and am a fan of lakeland's innovative stuff.

Like your first reviewer I was very disappointed with the Garlic Peel. I thought maybe my garlic was a bit old so tried with a fresher clove but still it didn't remove the skin. Neat looking gadget but a waste of drawer space.
